What are some of the most signs that your HVAC system needs to be repaired?
Good indications that your system needs to be repaired are:

1) Your heating or air conditioning isn’t reaching your desired temperature.
2) Your system isn’t functioning like it used to.

When would you suggest that homeowners consider replacing it instead of repairing?
Good indications that your system needs to be replaced are:

1) It is 15 years or older.
2) Have your gas or electric bills gone up?
3) You’ve had your furnace or air conditioner repaired in the last two years.
4) Does your furnace or air conditioner make loud noise?

Is there a time frame (or age) when you would usually recommend replacing heating and/or cooling equipment?
You should begin considering replacement of your equipment after 10 years because they lose a lot of efficiency after that age, which costs you more money. Another reason is so that you have time to save up for it and aren’t put into a difficult situation later. Thinking ahead allows you to look into what exactly you want and to shop around for the best price.

Can you briefly talk about some of the benefits of getting a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system?
1) You save money on your heating/cooling costs.
2) Your home will reach your desired temperature quicker.
3) You can have less dry air, dust and allergens.

Do you have tips for people who have a noisy HVAC system?
If your system is noisy you should have it checked. The most important tip is maintenance. Your equipment is like your vehicle; you need to maintenance it seasonally. Maintenance will ensure that your parts and components last and also give your technician a clue as to what may be an issue in the future.
